BookBoth Blue Lagoon meets fantasy island in this well worth the travel, once in a life time find. Costa Rica is on the southern tip of the Nicoya Peninsula dividing North, and South America. With the Atlantic to the east, and the Pacific to the west paradise awaits you.

Montezuma is the "E" list natural oasis that has them hopping state side for a movie, and calling this picturesque place home. Long time resident Perrey Reeves Entourage star known as Mrs "A", wouldn't live anywhere else. The beauty of it all is you can find nice rooms for $65, or fabulous for $120 making it a discovery for all budgets.

Montezuma, Costa Rica is a journey that will mystify all its visitors. A place of comfort with a bohemian style town offering the best in farmers markets, artists, musicians, and above all relaxation. Nestled along the Gulf of Nicoya between gorgeous white beaches, and lush jungle is a place many people choose to stay.

The town is a mix of hippies, eccentrics from Europe & the U.S., artists of all types, and conservationists. This creative mix blends together making a very unique harmonised place to hang out. Yoga and a place of healing for body, mind, and spirit brings people back to the basics of a organically healthy life style.

Travel options are flying into San Jose International airport, and then deciding on the Costa Rica Shuttle, or catching a commuter to Tambor where you board the ferry to Montezuma, and bus to town. No you don't need a car. Once you get there you can get a ride from town to your destination.

If you choose a shuttle the drive is approximately two hours. Very scenic it just depends on the traveler. Flights right now to San Jose are reasonable, the hotel has great packages to check out.

BookBoth recommended place to stay is the Ylang Ylang Beach Resort. You check in to the resort at the El San Banano Village Cafe in the center of town. The cafe also has 12 suites that are clean, quiet, and cool for $65 per night. Arrange via email ahead of time that you would like a ride to the resort. Even though it is only 10 minutes northeast up the beach with luggage it isn't that pleasant.
